Hydrocarbon-based Special Cleaner
Composition:
Mixture of aliphatic hydrocarbon in the range of C13 – C17 under addition of a cleaning alkyl, an ameliorant for loading and sub-surface migration, a corrosion prevention additive.
PROTEC CC102 is of green transparent colour, almost odourless and water insoluble. Because of its high flashpoint, the cleaner can be used at working temperatures up to 85°C against insistent and boned impurities on surfaces.
Work piece protection:
Metals and plastics are not corroded. Some elastomers are at all events insignificantly and under degeneration (reversible) swollen.
Environment:
PROTEC CLEANER CC102 is free of halogenated hydrocarbons and extremely poor in aromats. Emission limit according to TA-air KL III: 3 kg/h.
Work hygiene:
The extremely low hazard figure compared to other cleaning agents makes this product manageable in a workspace with light ventilation. According to the OECD-testing method stipulated in the regulation on working substances, PROTEC CC102 does not cause skin irritations. Due to its degreasing effect, secondary dermatosis is not excluded. It is therefore absolutely recommended to use benzin resistant protection gloves when skin contact is prolonged. Skin protection salve is recommended.
Corrosion prevention:
If desired, the surface is temporarily corrosion protected after the last application of PROTEC CC102 (no respectively light water flushing).
Application:
PROTEC CC102 outstandingly solubilises contaminations containing mineral oil such as engine oils, fabrication oils, hardening oils, hydraulic oils, corrosion inhibitors, metal working oils, lubricating greases as well as paraffin wax. All metals, glass, ceramics but also plastics can be cleaned.
The following requirements can be met according to adequate process combination:
- emphasis of requirement on surface coating:lacquering, hardening, electroplating (as preliminary cleaning)
- emphasis of requirement on „micro cleaning“(e. g. welding, metallising, adhering)
